Interflex improves times and attendance
Rehabilitation and support provider, Lighthouse Health, has deployed a new staffing solution from Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies.
The Interflex time and attendance system enables the company to plan shifts quickly and easily, ensuring the correct skill and gender mix is met. This has led to a reduction in the amount of money spent on agency staff and also ensures the hours worked by staff are in line with their contracts. In addition, the system has been linked to biometric hand readers meaning staff can only ‘clock in’ for themselves and absenteeism is more visible. This information is then used to generate accurate payroll data.
Tobi Gowers, finance director at Lighthouse Healthcare, said: “We needed consistent procedures across the group for shift planning, absence management and payroll generation, which is what Interflex has given us - with the added benefit that we have been able to modify the system to provide sufficient information to utilise it as an HR database.”
