Patient records use IMS MAXIMS at Stoke Mandeville

Patient record systems at the National Spinal Injuries Centre have been improved with the deployment of the IMS MAXIMS Spinal System solution.

Patient record systems at the National Spinal Injuries Centre have been improved with the deployment of the IMS MAXIMS Spinal System solution. Specially designed to improve patient care by allowing records to be instantaneously updated and care plans to be made, the solution will improve information sharing between healthcare staff at the unit, which is based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, part of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Claire Guy, rehabilitation programme lead, said: "It is a real advance because it promotes patient-centred care and interdisciplinary working. It also saves time for staff. For example, if a part-time speech of language therapist needs to know what was agreed at a meeting about a particular patient, they can now easily access this and provide the correct treatment."
