Work set to begin on new neonatal intensive care unit
Interserve will build a new neonatal intensive care unit at Liverpool Women's Hospital
Interserve has won its bid to extend and remodel the existing neonatal intensive care unit at Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust.
The £15m phased project will commence on site in September.
The completed facility will provide new intensive care and high dependency suites, a special care baby unit, and improved parent accommodation and clinical support.
The win is the second healthcare project secured from new customer by Interserve in Liverpool in recent months.
Phil Shaw, divisional director of Interserve, said: “We are happy to continue our long-term relationship with the Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust, building on our existing knowledge of the estate and bringing our learning and experience from other neonatal and paediatric projects.”
